‘Joodse raden’ in West-Europa tijdens de Duitse bezetting

In de periode na de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd voornamelijk negatief geoordeeld over de rol van ‘Joodse raden’ in bezet Europa. Ze werden gezien als werktuigen in de handen van de Duitse bezetter, die hadden bijgedragen aan het maatschappelijk isoleren en deporteren van de Joden.

Fries vlas

Friesland is rond 1880 de grootste producent van vlas in Nederland. De teelt gaat in die jaren niet zozeer om het gewas zelf, maar is voornamelijk bedoeld als werkverschaffing. Het eindproduct linnen wordt veelal thuis en in spinhuizen gesponnen en door regionale wevers verwerkt.
