Based on the reconstruction and investigation of some private libraries of scholars and collectors, including Gavriil Seviros, guide of the Confraternita dei Greci in Venice, this volume proposes a reflection on methodological approaches and research prospects regarding the book production in Greek language at a time when printed books were already at a rather advanced stage of development.
