Beschrijving Quality management guidelines for islamic societies

In Islamic societies, religion penetrates all aspects of social and professional life, including health issues. This book offers three contributions illustrating its impact on work. Firstly, it describes the influence of the well-known Islamic work ethic on workers' behavior in Muslim countries, and reviews the overall implications for organizational performance. Secondly, it highlights the Islamic view on the concept of business, in connection with the essential Islamic work values and components and the Ten Commandments. Thirdly, it contributes to the field of quality management models. It conducts a comprehensive literature review of Western quality approaches and identifies the shared values and principles in comparison with the Islamic work ethic.
