A Tale of Murder, Madness and the Oxford English Dictionary
Simon Winchester's account, now in paperback, of the role played in the creation of the O.E.D. by a deranged American Civil War hero who was also a millionaire and a murderer. A no. 1 bestseller in Viking hardcover, it promises to do extremely well in this format.
