On one side is a clear, well presented street plan of Rio, extending south to include Copacabana and Ipanema districts, and west to show Corcovado mountain and the Maracanã sport complex with the Estadio Mario Filho football ground. Metro, railway and BRT bus lines are prominently shown, as well as the routes of the Vintage Tram line and the rack railway to Corcovado. For drivers the map indicates one way streets and clearly shows access onto expressways. Numerous hotels and various places of interest or facilities are highlighted, all shown with names. On the reverse is a road map of the south-eastern Brazil, extending along Porto Alegre in the south, beyond Recife, to Fortaleza, plus inland past Londrina, to include both Brasilia and Curitiba. The map has altitude colouring to present the topography and shows the region’s road and rail networks. Places of interest are highlighted, including numerous beaches.
