This volume documents the persecution of the Jews in Fascist Italy and in the lands of Yugoslavia, Greece, and Albania that were occupied by Germany and its allies. Although the initial situation was different in each territory, from the summer of 1943 on, following the fall of Mussolini and the occupation of Italy, the Germans sought to implement the same policy of extermination everywhere.
