This is the only large-scale standalone edition of Odyssey XI in English. Other commentators have covered it as part of multi-volume editions covering the entire epic.
The Fasti is Ovid's account of the first six months of the Roman calendar, which brings the ancient city to life in a unique and varied way. It is a core text from a key poet. This is the first new edition of the poem for nearly 50 years to be grounded in detailed examination of the manuscript.
In dazzling original poems, essays, screenplay, and libretto gathered here, the author draws on personal experience and the work of others to illuminate "decreation"--the state in which the self dissolves.
