»The Governance of the Water Infrastructure«

The interdisciplinary articles from science and practice, published in two volumes, analyze the future viability of water supply and wastewater disposal in Germany and Europe. On this basis, they develop ideas for the design of »institutions« to secure a sustainable governance of long-term infrastructure decisions. The aim is to achieve more flexible and adjustable system solutions, which can be adapted to small-scale and fast alternating demographic, climatic and socio-economic changes.
