This volume deals with the Agreement on a European Economic Area signed in Oporto on 2 May 1992 which came into force on 1 January 1994. The first part of the book analyzes the institutional aspects of the agreement, while the second part is devoted to the liberalization of financial services, dealing in particular with the insurance directives, the second banking directive and the directive on investment in the securities field.
