Professor Chen Zhiping is a Distinguished Professor at Xiamen University, where he has held key leadership roles, including Chair of the Department of History, Dean of the School of Humanities, and currently serves as Director of the Institute of Chinese Classics Studies. A prominent figure in national academia, he is President of the Chinese Society for Ming Dynasty History and Vice President of the Chinese Society for Zhu Xi Studies.
